Examination Table

Product Code : SLE/HF/06

Examination Table (Product Code: SLE/HF/06) is a two-section padded couch with a backrest whose angle is set by a secured pawl and gear ratchet, giving doctors a stable surface for examining patients lying flat or partly reclined. It suits outpatient departments, consulting rooms, casualty areas, school and workplace health rooms, and clinical-skills labs. The table is manufactured by Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd (ScienceLab), Ambala, a lab equipment manufacturer in India whose range extends to clinic and hospital furniture.

Typical Use

For an abdominal or general physical examination the backrest is lowered so the patient lies flat; for chest auscultation, ECG placement or a patient who is breathless, the ratchet lets the backrest be raised and locked at a comfortable angle. The fixed four-leg frame with transfer bars does not roll or rock when a patient climbs on or shifts position, and a two-step footstool beside it helps elderly or shorter patients get up safely. In teaching settings, medical and nursing colleges that work with a laboratory equipment supplier in India place these tables in clinical-skills rooms for history-taking and examination practice.

The upholstery cannot be removed, so good hygiene relies on the washable, liquid-proof cover: use disposable couch roll for each patient and wipe the cover with disinfectant between sessions.

Porters and nurses bring the stretcher alongside a bed, lock both braked castors, lower the side rails and slide the patient across. Once the patient is settled, the rails are raised to prevent falls, an infusion bag is hung on the head-end IV pole, and the patient’s notes, oxygen cylinder or belongings travel on the mesh shelf below. The backrest ratchet allows a patient who cannot lie flat to be transported semi-upright, while the corner bumpers protect walls and door frames on busy routes.

Anti-static wheels and cover make the stretcher suitable for areas where static build-up should be avoided. Hospitals preparing laboratory equipment tenders in India alongside their ward and casualty furniture often specify this model for every transfer point. Clean the cover and rails with disinfectant after each patient and check that the brakes lock fully.

Footstool Two Steps

Product Code : SLE/HF/08

Footstool Two Steps (Product Code: SLE/HF/08) is a sturdy two-level step stool that helps patients climb onto examination couches, delivery tables and hospital beds, and gives staff a secure platform when they need extra height at the bedside or operating table. The steps carry an embossed anti-slip pattern, and the legs end in heavy duty anti-slip rubber ends. Clinics, wards, theatres and maternity units buying from a government lab equipment supplier often order one per couch. It is manufactured by Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd (ScienceLab), Ambala.

Specifications

LegsRobust supporting legs, spaciously arranged for maximal stability; transfer bars connect the lower distal portions for structural strength

Overall size60–64 × 34–38 × 41–43 cm (l × w × h)
Carrying capacity100 kg

Typical Use

Place the footstool square against the side of the couch or table with both steps facing the patient, and offer a hand as they step up one level at a time. The wide leg stance and rubber-tipped feet resist tipping and sliding on smooth hospital flooring, while the textured step surfaces give grip to bare feet or shoe covers. In theatre, a nurse or assistant can stand on the upper step to see into the operative field or reach overhead equipment.

Keep the stool clear of wet floors and remove it once the patient is settled so it is not a trip hazard. Nursing schools working with a vocational training lab equipment manufacturer in India include footstools in their practice wards so students learn safe patient-assist techniques. The solid plastic steps and coated frame can be wiped with standard hospital disinfectant.

The column, ring and bowl are austenitic stainless steel 18/10 and the base is a single moulded unit. During surgery or a dressing procedure, the circulating nurse fills the bowl and rolls the stand to the edge of the sterile field so the operator can reach solution without leaning across instrument trays. On wards it serves as a hand-wash or soak basin at the bedside, and in labour rooms it can hold warm water or receive the placenta for inspection. The five-castor base spreads the load of a full bowl, so the stand stays upright when nudged, and the twin-wheel castors roll easily on theatre floors.

Because every part that touches fluid is 18/10 stainless steel, the bowl and ring can be scrubbed and sterilised along with other metal hollowware. Paramedical and nursing institutes ordering from a TVET lab equipment manufacturer in India use the stand in skills labs to train scrub and circulating roles.

Typical Use

On a ward, the nurse in charge keeps routine tablets, injectables and IV fluids on the adjustable shelves, while narcotics and other controlled medicines go in the two inner compartments, each locked separately from the main doors. This arrangement supports a clear key-holding routine: the main door key for general access and separate compartment keys held by the responsible officer. Solid doors keep medicines out of direct light and away from casual view in patient areas.

Set the shelf heights to suit bottle and box sizes, stay within 25 kg per shelf, and level the cabinet on its adjustable feet so the doors close squarely. For pharmacy college lab equipment, the same cabinet gives students a realistic dispensary storage setup for practising stock rotation and controlled-drug record keeping.

What Is the Double Door Instrument Cabinet Used For?

Once instruments have been cleaned, packed and sterilised, they can wait on the shelves of this cabinet until they are needed, each set labelled and facing the glass. Staff can check what is in stock through the doors without opening them, which reduces handling and helps keep dust off stored packs. The two-point lock secures both doors at top and base, so instruments stay protected when the room is unattended.

Place heavier trays on the lower shelves and keep each shelf within its 25 kg capacity. The height-adjustable feet level the cabinet on uneven floors, the 10 cm clearance lets floor cleaning reach underneath, and the glass and coated steel can be wiped with a non-abrasive cleaner. Nursing and medical colleges also use it as a lab storage cabinet for demonstration instruments in their skills labs.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • The type of adjustable feet you prefer: rubber or nylon.
  • The number of cabinets for each theatre, ward or store room.
  • Whether a solid-door cabinet with lockable compartments, such as the Double Door Medicine Cabinet, is needed alongside it.
  • The delivery location and any packing requirements for the glass doors.

When the floor is mopped or the bed is moved, staff release the two brakes and pull the cabinet by its side rail handle, then lock the brakes again so it cannot drift if the patient leans on it.

Soiled Linen Trolley (Product Code: SLE/HF/13) is a wheeled frame that holds a removable, washable canvas bag for collecting used and soiled linen and moving it across a hospital to the laundry. Typical Use

During morning bed-making, a housekeeper or nurse parks the trolley at the foot of each bed, locks the brakes and places stripped sheets, pillow covers and gowns directly into the open bag, keeping soiled items off the floor and away from clean linen. When the bag is full, the draw string is pulled closed and the whole bag is lifted out and sent to the laundry, and a fresh bag is fitted to the ring. Separating soiled linen at the point of use in this way is a basic infection-control step on every ward.

The canvas bag can be washed with the linen it carried, and the coated frame is wiped with disinfectant. Hospitals drawing up laboratory equipment tenders in India alongside housekeeping items often specify one trolley per ward, with extra bags so a clean one is always ready.
