Human Mediastinum Model (Product Code: SLE/A/75) is a life-size model of the central compartment of the chest, the space between the lungs that holds the heart, great vessels, trachea and esophagus. It is dissectible into 5 parts: the sternum and thymus lift away to reveal the pericardial sac and the major pulmonary and systemic vessels, and a separate 2-part heart shows the chambers and valves inside. Anatomy, cardiology, respiratory-therapy and nursing courses use it for thoracic anatomy teaching. It is made by Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd (ScienceLab), Ambala.
