Measuring Cylinders 10ml Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India

Measuring Cylinders 10ml (Product Code: SCI-117/032) are small transparent glass cylinders used to measure liquid volumes up to 10 ml in school and college laboratories. Students reach for this school measuring cylinder when a practical calls for just a few millilitres of reagent, indicator or solvent, and its 0.2 ml graduations suit such small volumes. They are made by Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd (ScienceLab), an OEM manufacturer, at its own factory in Ambala, India.

Specifications

What Is a 10 ml Measuring Cylinder Used For?

A 10 ml cylinder is the right tool for the small volumes found in test-tube reactions, indicator additions, simple dilutions and chromatography solvent mixes. It is also handy for finding the volume of small objects by water displacement in density experiments. Using a small cylinder for small volumes gives a far more readable result than trying to measure a few millilitres in a large one.

Stand the cylinder on a level bench, fill to just below the required mark and add the last drops with a dropper, then read the bottom of the meniscus at eye level. Although the glass is heat resistant, measuring cylinders are meant for measuring rather than heating, so warm liquids in a beaker instead. Rinse the cylinder after use and let it drain upside down.

What to Specify When Ordering

• The number of 10 ml cylinders, for example one per student group.
• Whether larger cylinders from the same range are needed for the same class.
• Any spares you want to hold for breakages (ask us about quantities).

OEM Manufacturer

Jain Scientific Equipments Private Limited, trading as ScienceLab, makes these 10 ml cylinders as their OEM at its own licensed factory at Saha, Ambala, Haryana, India.

As a laboratory glassware manufacturer serving schools, colleges, dealers and importers, the company quotes class-set quantities directly and handles repeat orders for breakage replacement itself. Ask us what you need, and read more on our company profile.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the capacity and graduation of the Measuring Cylinders 10ml?
The Measuring Cylinders 10ml hold up to 10 ml and are graduated in 0.2 ml intervals. That scale lets students measure small reagent volumes on a transparent glass body with a clearly visible meniscus.

What material are the Measuring Cylinders 10ml made of?
The Measuring Cylinders 10ml are made of transparent glass that is described as heat resistant and chemical resistant. Glass does not absorb stains or odours easily, so the cylinders can be rinsed clean and reused across many practicals.

How do I read a 10 ml measuring cylinder accurately?
Place the Measuring Cylinders 10ml on a level surface, bring your eye level with the liquid and read the bottom of the curved meniscus against the nearest 0.2 ml mark. Add the final drops with a dropper to avoid overshooting.

Can the Measuring Cylinders 10ml be heated?
Although the glass of the Measuring Cylinders 10ml is heat resistant, measuring cylinders are intended for measuring volumes, not for heating. Warm or boil liquids in a beaker or flask, and let them cool before measuring them in the cylinder.

Who manufactures the Measuring Cylinders 10ml?
Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd, trading as ScienceLab, is the OEM manufacturer of the Measuring Cylinders 10ml. They are made at the company's own licensed factory at Saha, Ambala, Haryana, India, and supplied factory-direct to institutions, dealers and importers.

Can these cylinders be ordered in bulk or for export?
Yes. ScienceLab supplies the Measuring Cylinders 10ml in bulk to schools, colleges, dealers and importers in India and international markets. Send the product code SCI-117/032, the quantity and the delivery location through the contact page for a quotation.
