What Is the Dual-Dome Ceiling OT Light Used For?
Two domes let the theatre team light the operative field from two directions at once, so that when one light path is blocked by a head or hands the other still reaches the site. Before draping, staff swing each arm into place using the radial, angular and axial movements, set the height within the 600 mm adjustment, and then trim each dome's intensity separately so that deep cavities and surface work are both lit without glare.
During long lists the cooling mechanism disperses heat from the LED heads to hold a nominal temperature.
