What Is the 110mm PVC to 4 inch GI Male Adaptor Used For?
When a new PVC main has to connect into existing metal pipework, the join usually happens at a threaded G.I. socket, a threaded valve or another female-threaded fitting. This adaptor is cemented onto the end of the 110 mm PVC pipe and its male thread is then screwed into that metal fitting, giving a straight, in-line change from plastic to G.I.
